Delete Guardian Account and Cloud Data

Delete immediately in the Android app

Android users who can access the Guardian app can delete their account immediately by opening Guardian > Settings > Account > Delete Guardian Account and Cloud Data and following the confirmation steps.

This deletes the Firebase Authentication account and Guardian records stored in Google Cloud Firestore, including trial and entitlement records associated with the account.

Information not deleted

Deleting the Guardian cloud account does not delete recordings or related evidence stored locally on the device. Users control those files separately through Guardian, device storage, or any location to which they exported them.

Account deletion also does not delete Google Play purchase records, which Google maintains under its own policies.

Request deletion through the website

Users who cannot access the app can submit a deletion request through the existing contact page. Include the Google account email address used with Guardian and the words Account deletion request.

Identity verification may be required to protect the account. Guardian completes verified web deletion requests within 30 days.
