Depending on enabled features, the app may process camera video, optional microphone audio, device location, trip telemetry, motion-sensor data, timestamps, and locally stored recording files.

How information is used

This information supports recording, playback, trip documentation, collision detection, clip locking, storage management, and user-directed sharing.

Local storage and sharing

Recordings and trip information remain on the device under normal use. Guardian does not automatically publish recordings.

Permissions

Guardian requests permissions required for enabled features. Review the permissions page for details.

Data retention

Retention depends on device storage, recording settings, loop recording, manual deletion, and locked clips.

Children’s privacy

Guardian is intended for drivers and is not directed to children.
